Shopping List

This is the total list of materials required to reach 56. The 56-100 part is not included here because there are too many alternative recipes you can use.

Levels 1-7

1x Explorer's Plate Bracers - 8x Serevite Ore, 3x Draconium Ore

If you need a Blacksmith Hammer to craft these items, you can buy one from Provisioner Thom in Valdrakken. (or any other blacksmithing supply vendor).

Equip the Draconium Blacksmith's Hammer. You can destroy the Blacksmith Hammer you won't need it anymore.

Blacksmithing Specializations

When you hit 25, you will unlock Specializations. I would suggest having a little bit of a look through the specializations. Spend some time reading through them, then choose which direction you might want to go.

But don't be too hasty with spending points just at this time unless you have a clear goal of which direction you wanna go. The Knowledge points are going to be the limited commodity that you will never be able to get enough of, and you will always want more of. You can continue leveling your profession and return to choosing a specialization and spending knowledge points a bit later.

You will need 50 skill points to unlock the second specialization, 65 for the third, and 75 for the fourth. 50 is not that hard to reach, but it may take you a little while to level all the way to 75. So, be aware that you will have to choose which one you feel you can do without for the longest.

Levels 26-31

Craft them in the same order as listed!

1x Draconium Axe - 12x Serevite Ore, 6x Draconium Ore
1x Draconium Leatherworker's Toolset - 12x Serevite Ore, 6x Draconium Ore

Levels 50-56

1x Draconium Great Mace - 20x Serevite Ore, 10x Draconium Ore
2x Explorer's Expert Helm - 28x Serevite Ore, 14x Draconium Ore

Levels 56-100

You can still make a few more trainer recipes until you reach 60, but they are all yellow, and they no longer give multiple skill points.

Almost all Blacksmithing recipes that give you skill points up to 100 require soulbound materials. It would be almost impossible to farm the needed materials for a single person. Also, every high-level rare and epic recipe will be BoP, so you can't even sell them at the Auction House. You are basically forced to use the Crafting Order system.

Since the whole Crafting Order system is new and untested, I cannot say which recipes are the best ones yet. I will list the full list of recipes that you can use for leveling to 100. There will probably be demand for all of them.

I recommend using the "Show Unlearned" filter in the Crafting Order UI to see which recipes have the highest demand.
