Feral Druid Overview

Feral Druid Stats

Agility is your primary stat. Agility increases both attack power and damage.

For secondary stats, the Feral Druid have the following:

  • Agility > Critical Strike > Mastery = Haste > Versatility
  • Critical Strike: Crit value on single target is partially based on combo point generation from  Shred. It loses value at a fairly low amount. It will still typically be the second best stat.
  • Haste: Increases the tick rate of your bleeds and increases the rate at which you generate energy.
  • Mastery: Increases the damage of all finishers and bleeds.
  • Versatility: Increases damage and healing, and reduces damage taken.

Feral Druid Phials

Overall the best phial for Feral Druids is  Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage Phial of Static Empowerment is technically the actual best Phial however it's downsides upon movement means that in real terms it's almost certainly not the best option in real terms.

The self damage from  Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage isn't significant enough to cause major issues however if you are really concerned about the self damage properties then  Phial of Elemental Chaos may be the next best option.

Feral Druid Combat Potions

Elemental Potion of Ultimate Power is the clear best combat potion for Feral Druids.

Feral Druid Weapon Buff

For their weapons, Feral Druids will always use  Buzzing Rune.

Best Feral Druid Gems

You'll want to use one primary stat gem (these are unique equipped) and secondary stat gems in the other slots.

Feral Druid Rotation and Priority

Feral Druid Opener

  1.  Prowl before you enter combat.
  2.  Rake from stealth.
  3.  Shred to 5 combo points.
  4.  Tiger's Fury and apply  Rip.
  5.  Feral Frenzy when at 0 combo points.
  6. Cast  Berserk and spend your combo points on  Ferocious Bite
  7. Dump Energy with  Shred and  Ferocious Bite

General Rotation

  1. Avoid overcapping Energy and Combo Points wherever possible!
  2. Maintain  Rip, you'll want to cast this at 5 combo points.
  3. If you have 5 combo points and  Rip is not in Pandemic duration cast  Ferocious Bite
  4. Maintain  Rake, you'll want to snapshot this with  Tiger's Fury and  Sudden Ambush
  5.  Thrash to generate  Bloodtalons if necessary
  6. If you have a  Clearcasting proc you'll want to use it on  Shred or  Thrash
  7. Cast  Thrash if it's not up
  8.  Shred to generate combo points

Cooldowns

  1. Use  Tiger's Fury on cooldown, make sure to dump energy before it comes off cooldown
  2. Use  Berserk on cooldown, when playing  Berserk: Heart of the Lion this may naturally desync slightly from  Tiger's Fury, do not fear. This may sometimes be worth holding depending on what's coming up in the fight. In general you want to use it on cooldown but do try and think about what's coming up.
  3. Use  Adaptive Swarm on cooldown, using it on the target where possible.
  4. If the target has greater than 2 stacks of  Adaptive Swarm and there are no other targets then you can cast  Adaptive Swarm on yourself.

Feral Druid Multi Target Rotation and Priority

  1. Avoid overcapping Energy and Combo Points wherever possible!
  2. Use  Tiger's Fury on cooldown, make sure to dump energy before it comes off cooldown
  3. Cast  Primal Wrath with 5 combo points.
  4. Cast  Primal Wrath with 5 combo points and  Bloodtalons where possible.
  5. With  Double-Clawed Rake You'll want to apply  Rake as a priority, if the mob will live for the full duration it is more damage than a  Swipe up to infinite targets
  6. Spend  Sudden Ambush procs on  Rake
  7. Cast  Thrash if it's not up
  8. Try and avoid capping  Brutal Slash Charges
  9. Dump  Brutal Slash charges in  Tiger's Fury windows.
